Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) jumped by 6.3% to AED 670.68 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to AED 630.73 million in the year-ago period, as per the company's unaudited interim consolidated financials.
The company generated revenues of AED 6.73 billion in the first three months (3M) of 2022, up 57.3% from AED 4.28 billion in the same period of 2021.
Meanwhile, the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose by 7.8% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 881 million in Q1-22.
The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.054 in 3M-22, versus AED 0.050 in the corresponding period of the earlier year.
