Dubai - Mubasher: The net profits of Air Arabia hiked to AED 290.86 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to AED 33.84 million in the year-ago period, according to the company's unaudited consolidated financials for the three-month period ended 31 March 2022.
The company's revenues amounted to AED 1.12 billion in Q1-22, up from AED 572.14 million in Q1-21.
The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at AED 0.06 in the first three months (3M) of 2022, versus AED 0.007 in the corresponding period of 2021.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company achieved consolidated net profits of AED 719.92 million, against net losses of AED 192.18 million a year earlier.
