Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company achieved net profits worth EGP 717.76 million in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, up by 14.8% from EGP 625.23 million in the year-ago period.
Revenues grew by 2% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 1.11 billion in H1 of the current FY, compared to EGP 1.09 billion, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
During the first four months (4M) of FY21/22, the company registered net profits after tax of EGP 448.15 million.
Earlier, the Egyptian listed company’s net profits declined to EGP 1.41 billion during FY20/21, compared to EGP 1.49 billion a year earlier, while revenues decreased to EGP 2.39 billion from EGP 2.58 billion.
