Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Commercial Bank International (CBI) registered net profits attributable to the equityholders worth AED 117.23 million in 2022, lower than AED 121.77 million a year earlier.
The net operating income plunged to AED 602.80 million during the January-December 2022 period, compared to AED 630.64 million in 2021, according to the income statements.
Meanwhile, the basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at AED 0.06 last year, versus AED 0.07 in the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2021.
CIB registered total assets of AED 21.16 billion in 2022, a hike from AED 20.77 billion in 2021.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the UAE-based lender turned profitable at AED 67.20 million, against net losses attributable to the shareholders worth AED 42.97 million in 9M-21.
