Riyadh – Mubasher: Methanol Chemicals Company (Chemanol) has generated SAR 194.83 million in net profit after Zakat and tax during the first half (H1) of 2022, an annual jump of 116.38% from SAR 90.04 million.
The company’s revenues amounted to SAR 631.45 million in H1-22, higher by 49.25% than SAR 423.09 million in H1-21, according to the interim financial results on Monday.
Furthermore, the earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 2.89 in the first six months (6M) of 2022, compared to SAR 1.33 during the same period a year earlier.
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, Chemanol witnessed a 53.17% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 92.16 million from SAR 60.17 million.
The Q2-22 revenues increased by 42.71% YoY to SAR 325.81 million, compared to SAR 228.30 million.
During the January-March 2022 period, the listed firm reported net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 102.67 million, a leap of 243.60% from SAR 29.88 million in the year-ago period.
