Riyadh – Mubasher: City Cement Company achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 115.72 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, higher by 4.95% than SAR 110.26 million in H1-20.
Earnings per share stood at SAR 0.83 in H1-21, compared to SAR 0.58 in H1-20, according to the financial results on Tuesday.
Sales grew by 4% to SAR 290.45 million in H1-21 from SAR 279.14 million in H1-20.
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, the cement company recorded an annual increase of 30.6% in net profits to SAR 49.7 million from SAR 38.04 million in Q2-20.
Sales rose by 10% to SAR 119.82 million in Q2-21 from SAR 108.86 million in Q2-20.
On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were lower by 24% than SAR 66.01 million in Q1-21, and the sales shrank by 29.7% from SAR 170.62 million.
