Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) signed a 10 year-agreement with Jordan’s Arab Potash Company to provide maintenance services for gas turbines, stated Mohamed El Sheimy, EMC head, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The Egyptian company was further awarded a contract to provide and install a natural gas liquefaction line in the Gulf of Aqaba, El Sheimy noted during the general assembly chaired by Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, to review EMC’s 2018 business results.
EMC won a new contract to provide operational support to Jordan’s Bromine Company. The company further expanded its work in Saudi Arabia as it took part in tenders to win contracts for providing maintenance for Saudi Aramco’s sites. In addition, EMC is currently working on its operational offer.
In Egypt, EMC completed testing and moving a gas compressor from Shams site to Tarek site for the El Wastani Petroleum Company (WASCO).
EMC supplied, manufactured and welded the exchanger of the main ammonia reactor in Abu Qir Fertilizer Company.
