Cairo – Mubasher: Fawry for Banking Technology and Electronic Payments has partnered with MSI to facilitate payment services for businesses and consumers.
MSI, which has gaming laptops in addition to being a market player in gaming hardware and innovative business solutions across 120 countries, will launch new top-tier models to cater best to business needs.
Through this partnership, Fawry aims to provide advanced financial technology solutions to the customers of MSI through its network of merchants in Egypt, according to a press release.
MSI, meanwhile, will offer exclusively discounted business laptops for SMEs and startups with facilitated instalment plans through Fawry’s network and in collaboration with ABC Shop.
Chief Business Officer-Acceptance at Fawry, Heba El-Awadi, said: “The partnership provides a safe and easy electronic payment method through various Fawry channels, such as the 'myfawry' mobile application and more than 220 'FawryPlus' outlets across the country, in addition to the Fawry POS machines of the most widespread network of retailers in Egypt.”
In 2022, MSI recorded $1.20 billion in revenue, according to MSI Middle East Marketing Manager, Eddie Chen.
Chen elaborated that the positive income motivated MSI to further invest in Egypt and the region, adding: “With the rise of startup culture and improved investment climate in Egypt, MSI aims to further foster and accelerate the success of small businesses and startups by providing them with one of the best IT equipment in the world.”
