Mubasher: Gulf International Services on Monday reported a 3,204% year-on-year hike in profits for the second quarter of 2018, recording QAR 24.78 million ($6.81 million), versus QAR 750,000 ($206,050).
In the first half of 2018, the company logged QAR 24.24 million in net profit, compared to QAR 15.83 million in the year-ago period, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Earnings per share amounted to QAR 0.18 at the end of June, versus QAR 0.09 in H1-17.
Gulf International previously posted a 37.3% year-on-year drop in its profits for Q1-18, registering QAR 9.46 million from QAR 15.08 million.
The Qatar-based firm had generated QAR 84.98 million in profits for the full-year ended December, up 26.9% from QAR 66.96 million in 2016.
