Cairo – Mubasher: Minapharm Pharmaceuticals posted consolidated net profits after tax, including minority rights, worth EGP 121.9 million during the January-March 2021 period, compared to EGP 79.24 million in the prior-year period.
Sales increased to EGP 772.69 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021 from EGP 551.01 million in Q1-20, according to a disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.
As for the standalone financial results, Minapharm achieved net profits after tax worth EGP 57.92 million in Q1-21, compared to EGP 18.47 million in Q1-20.
Earnings per share stood at EGP 4.71 in the first three months of 2021, higher than EGP 1.5 in the same period a year earlier.
The company had registered net profits of EGP 300.78 million in 2020, compared to EGP 141.09 million in 2019.
