Riyadh – Mubasher: National Medical Care Company (NMC) registered a 7.7% increase in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 35.73 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, compared with SAR 33.16 million in the same period in 2020.
Earnings per share stood at SAR 0.8 in Q1-21, compared to SAR 0.74 in Q1-20, according to the interim income statements.
Revenues grew 10% to SAR 214.19 million in Q1-21 from SAR 195.01 million in Q1-20.
Quarter-on-quarter, NMC’s net profit surged 62% in Q1-21 when compared to the registered SAR 22 million in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020.
Revenues meanwhile slightly declined in Q1-21 from SAR 214.59 million in Q4-20.
During the past period, NMC’s management has taken several steps to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, including cost reduction measures and offering teleconsultations, in addition to home healthcare services, and others.
