Riyadh – Mubasher: Naseej for Technology Company won a project worth SAR 9.99 million from King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language, according to a bourse filing.
The project aims to set up an online platform called Linguistic Assistant, which will help Arabic users in written editing by using artificial intelligence (AI) across different functions.
Naseej for Technology was awarded the project on 26 September 2022.
Last July, the Saudi listed firm inked a SAR 14.50 million contract with the National eLearning Center to secure the development of an educational project that offers flexible learning methods.
In the first half (H1) of 2022, the company’s net profits after Zakat and tax plunged by 21.56% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 7.74 million from SAR 9.87 million.
Revenues totalled SAR 94.85 million in January-June 2022, up 1.59% YoY from SAR 93.36 million.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.55 in H1-22, lower than SAR 1.97 in H1-21.
