Dubai – Mubasher: National Cement Company (NCC) on Thursday reported an AED 9.6 million in net profits for the third quarter of 2018, compared to AED 1.82 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues grew to AED 58.56 million in the three-month period ended September, against AED 50.362 million in Q3-17, NCC said in a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
Earnings per share (EPS) stood at AED 0.03 during Q3-18, versus AED 0.01 in the prior-year period.
In the first nine months of 2018, the cement producer logged AED 44.49 million in profits, compared to AED 47.23 million in the year-ago period.
Total revenue amounted to AED 165.24 million in at the end of September, up from AED 153.55 million in the corresponding nine-month period of 2017.
NCC previously posted a 62.7% year-on-year drop in net profits for Q2-18, recording AED 4.56 million, versus AED 12.23 million.
The firm’s profits fell 23% to AED 35 million in the first half of this year, compared to AED 45.41 million in H1-17.
