Nile City Investments' consolidated net profits down 21% in 9M-21

Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits after tax of Nile City Investments declined by 20.6% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 123.10 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2021, compared to EGP 155.43 million in the same period a year earlier.

The revenues increased by 36.58% to EGP 567.75 million in the January-September 2021 period from EGP 415.68 million in the corresponding period of 2020, according to the interim financial results.

The company’s standalone financial results showed net profits after tax of EGP 191.98 million in 9M-21, an increase of 15.6% compared to EGP 166.02 million in the same period of the prior year.

It is worth noting that during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the Egyptian listed company achieved consolidated net profits of EGP 47.19 million, a plunge of 61.5% from EGP 122.73 million in Q1-20.
