Oman Insurance profits down 28% in Q2

Dubai - Mubasher: The financial statements of Oman Insurance Company (OIC) showed a decline in net profits by 27.9% year-on-year during the second quarter of 2017, according to a bourse filing.

The company said in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Tuesday that net profits reached AED 26.014 million ($7 million) compared to AED 36.07 million ($10 million) for the same period last year.

As for the first half of the year, profits decreased by 12% to AED 51.5 million in H1-17, down from AED 58.5 million in H1-16.
