Riyadh – Mubasher: Qassim Cement Company has registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 25.08 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, down 75.13% from SAR 100.87 million from Q1-21.
The Saudi listed company generated SAR 142.49 million in revenue in Q1-22, a 36.20% year-on-year (YoY) plunge from SAR 223.35 million, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.28 in Q1-22, versus SAR 1.12 in Q1-21.
On a quarterly basis, the revenues in Q1-22 grew by 8.50% from SAR 131.32 million in Q4-21, while the net profits fell by 25.85% from SAR 33.83 million.
In 2021, Qassim Cement reported net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 295.26 million, an annual drop of 29.60% from SAR 419.83 million.
