Mubasher: Qatar Fuel (Woqod) on Monday announced that it has opened Wholesale Market petrol station as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
The new station raised the company’s network to 80 petrol stations, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
The company targets meeting the rising demand for petroleum products and providing customers with an access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort, Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, CEO of Woqod, said.
Spanning over an area of 5,700 square metres, the new station has 3 lanes with 9 dispensers that will serve Wholesale Market and its neighborhood.
The state-run fuel products firm is working on implementing 16 new stations, some of these stations are expected to be operated before the end of 2018.
The company targets implementing a total of 130 fuel stations by the end of 2020.
