Mubasher: Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) on Tuesday posted a 25.6% year-on-year decline in its profits for the first quarter of 2018.
The insurance services provider's profits amounted to QAR 230 million in Q1-18, compared to QAR 309.19 million in Q1-17, according to the company’s filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
For the full-year 2017, QIC’s profits tumbled 59.6% to QAR 417.59 million from QAR 1.03 billion in the year before, the QSE-listed firm noted.
By the end of Tuesday’s session, QIC’s stock declined 3.69% at QAR 36.31.
