Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 146.27 million during the first nine months (9M) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the preliminary financial statements on Sunday.
The net profits in April-December 2021 were 28.6% year-on-year (YoY) lower than SAR 204.96 million.
Earnings per share decreased to SAR 4.56 as on 31 December 2021, compared to SAR 6.39 in the same period a year earlier.
Sales declined by 2.5% YoY to SAR 1.54 billion in 9M-21/22 from SAR 1.58 billion.
During the third quarter (Q3) that ended on 31 December 2021, SADAFCO posted a YoY plunge of 14.9% in net profits to SAR 54.57 million from SAR 64.17 million.
Sales meanwhile increased by 7.8% to SAR 519.90 million in October-December 2021, compared to SAR 482.02 million in Q3 that ended on 31 December 2020.
Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), the net profits in Q3-21/22 rose by 1.6% from SAR 53.70 million in Q2 that ended on 30 September 2021, while the sales decreased by 1.9% from SAR 530.07 million.
Earlier this month, the company announced a cash dividend disbursement totalling SAR 95.999 million for H1-21/22, which was during April-September 2021.
