Cairo – Mubasher: Universal for Paper and Packaging Materials (Unipack) posted a 19.66% year-on-year profit slide during the first nine months of 2019.
Unipack’s net profit fell to EGP 21.09 million in the January-September period of 2019, compared to EGP 26.25 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.
Net sales declined to EGP 353.617 million in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 399.122 million in the prior-year period.
It is noteworthy that during the first half of 2019, Unipack’s net profit went down to EGP 14.61 million from EGP 18.85 million in H-18.
