Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits of Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) rose by 9% to AED 133.61 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, compared to AED 122.62 million in the year-ago period.
The insurer’s net underwriting income increased to AED 177.18 million in the three-month period ended 31 March from AED 151.22 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Monday.
Meanwhile, the overall income grew to AED 215.13 million in the January-March period, compared to AED 186.12 million in the prior-year period.
In 2020, the insurance firm achieved net profits of AED 370.996 million, up from AED 284.25 million in 2019.
