ADNOC Gas pens LNG supply agreement with TotalEnergies

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: ADNOC Gas inked a liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply deal with TotalEnergies Gas and Power Limited, a unit of French multinational energy company TotalEnergies.

The three-year agreement, which is valued between $1 billion and $1.20 billion, is forecast to commence in 2023 and will run through 2025, according to a press release.

Meanwhile, ADNOC Gas will team up with its subsidiary to provide TotalEnergies with LNG, which will be delivered to several export markets worldwide.

The partnership anchors the two companies’ positions as key players in the global LNG market.

Ahmed Alebri, CEO of ADNOC Gas, said: “Our new LNG supply agreement with TotalEnergies represents another significant milestone in our strategy to expand our global reach and strengthens our position as the LNG export partner of choice for leading global energy businesses.”

Thomas Maurisse, Senior Vice President of LNG at TotalEnergies, commented: "These additional volumes will strengthen our global LNG portfolio, our ability to supply the growing Asian markets, and our ambition to accompany our customers in their energy transition.”
