Doha – Mubasher: Ahli Bank Qatar on Tuesday announced a profit increase of 2.6% in the second quarter of 2017, compared to the corresponding period of 2016.
The Qatar-listed bank achieved profits of QAR 172.19 million ($45.83 million) in Q2-17 up from QAR 167.76 ($44.65 million) in Q2-16, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
As for the first six months of 2017, the bank’s profits rose 2.9% to QAR 342.21 million from QAR 332.74 million in H1-16.
The Qatari bank’s earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 1.71 in Q2-17, versus QAR 1.66 in Q2-16.
Ahli Bank last reported a 3.1% rise in profits to reach QAR 170.02 million in Q1-17, versus QAR 164.98 million in the year-ago period.
