Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits after zakat and tax of Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication Company declined by 16.122% to SAR 43.7 million during the first nine months of 2021 from SAR 52.1 million in the year-ago period, according to the company's interim financials for the nine-month period ended 30 September 2021.
The company's revenues amounted to SAR 1.049 billion in the January-September period of 2021, up 1.234% from SAR 1.036 billion in the corresponding period of 2020.
The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 1.02 in the first nine months of 2021, against SAR 1.22 in the same period of 2020.
In the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, the company's net profits retreated by 17.374% to SAR 12.65 million from SAR 15.31 million in the corresponding quarter of 2020.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the first half (H1) of 2021, the company registered a decrease of 15.5% in net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 31 million from SAR 36.7 million in H1-20.
