Riyadh – Mubasher: Sarah Al Suhaimi, Co-CEO of NCB Capital, has been named the new chairwoman of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), the bourse said in an official statement late Thursday.
Al Suhaimi will become the first woman to chair Tadawul, the largest bourse in the Middle East.
She will be replacing Khalid Al Rabiah, the Saudi bourse said.
It is likely that Al Suhaimi will keep her position at NCB Capital, the research and investment arm of the National Commercial Bank (NCB), Bloomberg reported citing a source familiar with the matter.
Al Suhaimi was also the first woman to head the Saudi investment bank when she took up the role in 2014.
