Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits after Zakat and tax of Almarai Company hit SAR 1.19 billion in the first half (H1) of 2023, an annual jump of 26.71% from SAR 940.81 million.
Almarai registered revenues amounting to SAR 9.85 billion in H1-23, marking an 8.17% year-on-year (YoY) growth from SAR 9.11 billion, according to consolidated interim financial results.
Earnings per share (EPS) hit SAR 1.21 during the first six months (6M) of 2023, compared to SAR 0.96 in the year-ago period.
Income Statements for Q2-23
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2023, the firm logged net profits after Zakat and tax valued at SAR 557.08 million, up 7.06% YoY from SAR 520.36 million.
The revenues stood at SAR 4.79 billion in April-June 2023, higher by 3.94% than SAR 4.61 billion in Q2-22.
On a quarterly basis, the Q2-23 net profits declined by 12.28% from SAR 635.05 million in Q1-23, while the revenues decreased by 5.41% from SAR 5.06 billion.
In Q1-23, Almarai posted 50.51% higher net profits after Zakat and tax at SAR 635.95 million, compared to SAR 422.53 million as of 31 March 2022.
