Dubai – Mubasher: The net profit attributable to the equity holders of Amanat Holdings plummeted to AED 66.64 million in the first half (H1) of 2022, compared to AED 235.33 million in H1-21.
The company registered AED 257.11 million in revenue during the first six months (6M) of 2022, versus AED 195.63 million in H1-21, according to the unaudited income statements.
The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) fell to AED 0.027 in H1-22 from AED 0.094 in H1-21.
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, Amanat recorded a decline in its net profit attributable to the equity holders to AED 34.63 million, compared to AED 203.82 million in the year-ago period.
Furthermore, the basic and diluted EPS went down to AED 0.014 in Q2-22 from AED 0.082 in Q2-21.
On the other hand, revenues during the April-June 2022 period amounted to AED 126.35 million, higher than AED 121.96 million during the same period a year earlier.
Last year, the UAE-based firm secured over AED 1.50 billion to endorse its acquisition plans in the healthcare and education sectors across different markets in 2022.
