Cairo – Mubasher: The Arab Dairy Products Co. – Panda recorded a jump of 906% in consolidated profits after tax, including minority interest, to EGP 8.36 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021 from EGP 831,647 in Q1-20.
Earnings per share stood at EGP 0.038 in Q1-21, compared to EGP 0.005 in Q1-20, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
Sales increased by 12.6% to EGP 383.13 million in the January-March 2021 period from EGP 340.15 million in the corresponding period last year.
As for the standalone financials, Arab Dairy achieved a growth of 491.6% in profits after tax, including minority interest, to EGP 4.56 million in Q1-21, compared to EGP 77,218 in Q1-20.
Earnings per share stood at EGP 0.026 in Q1-21, compared to EGP 0.004 in Q1-20.
Non-consolidated sales totalled EGP 374.23 million in the first three months of 2021.
In 2020, the company incurred consolidated net losses of EGP 15.57 million, including minority shareholders’ rights, against profits of EGP 23.68 million a year earlier.
