Cairo – Mubasher: Arabia Investments Holding reported an 85% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profits to EGP 42.08 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to EGP 22.74 million.
The revenues soared to EGP 788.5 million in the January-June period from EGP 591.56 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
As for standalone business, the company's loss narrowed to EGP 1.09 million in H1-21 from EGP 4.32 million in H1-20.
During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Arabia Investments Holding achieved net profits of EGP 15 million, up from EGP 9.22 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.
