Riyadh – Mubasher: Arabian Cement Company recorded net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 181 million in 2022, an annual rise of 12.07% from SAR 161.50 million.
Revenues amounted to SAR 970.90 million in the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2022, down 6.03% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 1.03 billion.
The earnings per share (EPS) grew to SAR 1.81 last year from SAR 1.62 in 2021, according to the annual financial results.
Dividends for H2-22
The company’s board suggested on 23 February 2023 cash dividends worth SAR 110 million, representing 11% of its capital, for the second half (H2) of 2022.
Arabian Cement would pay out a dividend of SAR 1.10 per share for 100 million eligible shares.
Meanwhile, the distribution date for the dividends will be unveiled once the general assembly approves the board’s recommendation.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the Saudi firm logged net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 145.90 million, higher by 5.57% than SAR 138.20 million in 9M-21.
