Mubasher: Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) achieved a marginal growth of 0.2% in profits during the third quarter of 2017 compared to the same period in the prior year.
Earnings increased to BHD 12.82 million in Q3-17 compared to BHD 12.8 million in Q3-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Monday.
Total revenues increased a year-on-year by 5.4% to BHD 37.2 million in Q3-17.
During the first nine months of 2017, BBK’s profits grew by 5.9% to BHD 45.2 million compared to BHD 42.7 million in the corresponding period in 2016.
Earlier in October, the Securities & Investment Company (SICO) expected BBK’s profits to gain 22% on an annual basis to BHD 14.5 million in Q3-17.
