Riyadh – Mubasher: National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) logged net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 1.04 billion in 2022, an annual leap of 440.93% from SAR 192.43 million.
Revenues amounted to SAR 8.58 billion in the January-December 2022 period, a 60.39% year-on-year (YoY) surge from SAR 5.35 billion, according to the interim financial results.
The earnings per share (EPS) jumped to SAR 2.11 last year from SAR 0.39 in 2021.
Fourth Quarter (Q4) of 2022
During the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2022, the Tadawul-listed firm generated SAR 578.12 million net profits after Zakat and tax, higher by 528.53% than SAR 91.98 million in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the revenues stood at SAR 2.71 billion in Q4-22, up 75.71% from SAR 1.54 billion in Q4-21.
On a quarterly basis, the Q4-22 net profits after Zakat and tax enlarged by 114.22% from SAR 269.87 million in Q3-22, while the revenues grew by 18.53% from SAR 2.29 billion.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the Saudi company recorded a 360.67% hike in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 462.79 million, compared to SAR 100.46 million in 9M-21.
