Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits after Zakat and tax of United International Transportation Company (Budget Saudi) hit SAR 252 million in 2022, up 14.60% from SAR 219.91 million in 2021.
Revenues increased by 3.75% to SAR 1.02 billion in January-December 2022, versus SAR 988.12 million a year earlier, according to the annual consolidated financial results.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 3.54 last year, higher than SAR 3.09 in 2021.
Dividends for H2-22
The board of Budget Saudi recommended cash dividends worth SAR 106.75 million, equivalent to 15% of the company's capital, for the second half (H2) of 2022.
Under the board’s suggestion that was made on 23 February 2023, the firm would disburse SAR 1.50 per share for 71.16 million eligible shares.
Meanwhile, the distribution date for the dividends will be announced at a later time.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, Budget Saudi posted an 11.53% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 186.92 million, compared to SAR 167.59 million.
