Riyadh – Mubasher: Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Company (Cenomi Retail) has named Günther Helm as its new CEO, according to a bourse filing.
The board approved Helm’s appointment on 4 March, yet he will assume his post on 1 April 2023.
In his new role, the new official will lead Cenomi Retail’s continued transformation programme. He will work closely with the company’s key brand partners across strategic verticals in order to deliver sustainable growth and enhanced customer experiences both in-store and online.
With more than 20-year experience in the global retail industry, Helm took over C-suite positions for 15 years.
Meanwhile, the board members ended the assignment of Mohammed Rafic Mourad as the interim CEO of Cenomi Retail.
In the first nine months (9M) of fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, the Saudi firm turned to net losses after Zakat and tax worth SAR 198.80 million, versus net profits of SAR 82.60 million in 9M-21/22.
