Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits after Zakat and tax of Methanol Chemicals Company (Chemanol) surged by 243.60% to SAR 102.67 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022 from SAR 29.88 million in the year-ago period, according to the company's interim financials.
The company's revenues amounted to SAR 305.65 million in Q1-22, up 56.91% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 194.79 million.
The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 1.52 in the first three months (3M) of 2022, versus SAR 0.44 in the same period of 2021.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company achieved net profits after Zakat and tax of SAR 244 million, against net losses of SAR 276.09 million in 2020.
