Dubai – Mubasher: Drake & Scull International (DSI) announced that its Kuwaiti subsidiary, Drake & Scull for Electrical Contracting (DSI Kuwait) has completed engineering and construction projects totalling AED 271 million on Kuwait’s Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Al Salem Al-Sabah Indoor Sports Complex and Sabah Al Salem University City.
Under the AED 71 million electromechanical engineering contract with the sports complex, DSI Kuwait has supplied and installed fire alarms and sprinklers, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), telephones, internet and satellites, as well as a scoreboard, according to a press release on Tuesday.
As for the project of Sabah Al Salem University’s College of Arts and Education, which his worth AED 200 million, DSI Kuwait has maintained and installed all the building’s electromechanical works alongside a fire alarm and HVAC systems.
DSI chairman, Shafiq Ahmed Saleh Abdelhamid, said: "These two key projects demonstrate DSI Kuwait’s strong capabilities in executing complex, high-quality work.”
