Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) has logged consolidated net profits after tax worth EGP 104.27 million during the first half (H1) of 2022, an annual surge of 32.91% from EGP 78.45 million.
Revenues went up by 9.38% to EGP 306.98 million in the first six months (6M) of 2022, compared to EGP 280.65 billion in the year-ago period, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
Meanwhile, the earnings per share (EPS) rose to EGP 0.49 in H1-22 from EGP 0.37 in H1-21.
As for the standalone business, the company registered net profits after tax of EGP 100.59 million in January-June 2022, higher by 14.90% year-on-year (YoY) than EGP 87.55 million.
The non-consolidated revenues amounted to EGP 297.05 million in H1-22, an annual growth of 5.28% from EGP 282.15 million. The standalone EPS stood at EGP 0.47 in H1-22, versus EGP 0.41 in H1-21.
In the January-March 2022 period, EMPC’s consolidated net profits after tax reached EGP 50.43 million, compared to EGP 25.57 million in Q1-21.
