Mubasher: Educational Holding Group suffered a loss of KWD 2.66 million ($8.9 million) during the first six months that ended on 28 February 2018 against profits worth KWD 3.18 million ($10.6 million) in the corresponding period a year ago.
The negative turn in the six-month income statements is attributed to calculating provisions to overcome the risks resulted from a decline in asset value, according to a bourse statement on Thursday.
Operating profits stood at KWD 3.77 million in the six months that ended on 28 February 2018, 17% higher than the same period a year ago.
