Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) signed 42 contracts worth AED 465 million in the first nine months of 2016, according to a statement.
The contracts included establishment, expansion and development of services, according to the company’s CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar.
Some of the contracts signed by Empower included a professional consultancy for full design, engineering, contract administration and construction supervision as well as managing the company’s plant in TECOM C.
The company also inked a 25,000 RT contract to serve Bluewaters’ facilities, residential units, retail stores, commercial buildings and hotels.
Empower has another contract covering its projects for Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Al Qasr Palace, Jumeriah Al Naseem Hotel, Mina A’Salam Hotel, Dar Al Masyaf Hotel, Souq Madinat Jumeirah, Wild Wadi and The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management.
Bin Shafar expected "immense" interest in district cooling services in the coming period that will cover both existing and future projects requirements in Dubai.
