Cairo – Mubasher: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt reported consolidated net profits of EGP 1.097 billion in the first half (H1) of 2021, up by 32.8% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 826.556 million, including minority shareholders' rights.
The bank's net interest income increased to EGP 2.7 billion in the six-month period ended 30 June from EGP 2.02 billion in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
Earlier, the bank reported its standalone net profit at EGP 1.015 billion in H1-21, up EGP 791.63 million in H1-20.
