GFH to pay 6% cash dividends for 2022

Mubasher: The annual general meeting (AGM) of GFH Financial Group (GFH) agreed to distribute a cash dividend of $0.01 (AED 0.05) per share for 2022, excluding treasury shares.

Meanwhile, the dividends account for 6% of the share nominal value, according to a press release.

Ghazi Al Hajeri, Chairman of GFH, said: “We are pleased to announce that shareholders have approved the distribution of another solid dividend as the group continues to focus on creating value for our shareholders, investors, and partners."

"We have been building on this momentum in 2023 and remain focused on further growth in the year ahead,” Al Hajeri continued. 

Hisham Alrayes, CEO of GFH, highlighted that the group made further achievements throughout the business in 2022, as it delivered “double-digit growth in income, completing more than $1.20 billion of new investments across global markets.”

In 2022, the net profits attributable to the owners of GFH increased by 7.20% year-on-year (YoY) to $90.25 million from $84.22 million.

Total income surged by 10.80% to $441.67 million last year from $398.74 million in 2021, while the basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) rose to $2.65 from $2.60.

In addition to trading on Dubai Financial Market (DFM), GFH is cross-listed on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), Bahrain Bourse, and Boursa Kuwait.
