Mubasher: Gulf Hotels Group’s profits grew in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016 by 131.7% to BHD 6.72 million ($17.69 million), versus BHD 2.9 million ($7.63 million) posted for Q2-15.
Net profit also rose by 57.3% in the first half of fiscal 2016 to BHD 9.45 million, compared to BHD 6.01 million in the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.
Operating revenue fell in H1-16 by 7.43% to BHD 6.81 million from BHD 7.36 million reported for H1-15.
The company earlier posted a year-on-year fall of 12.06% in its profits for Q1-16 to BHD 2.74 million.
