Mubasher: Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company’s stock rose during Sunday’s early trades after increasing non-Qatari ownership limit to 49% of the capital.
By 11:10 am Qatar time, Mesaieed’s stock levelled up 2.85% at QAR 16.99, the highest since October 2016.
The stock topped the QSE in terms of trading volume with 2.7 million shares, generating QAR 45.8 million in in a turnover.
It is worth noting that Qatar Petroleum owns 74.2% of Mesaieed.
For the full-year 2017, Mesaieed’s profits rose 9% to QAR 1.1 billion.
