Mubasher: The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) posted a decline of 17% in profits to BHD 14.74 million ($38.57 million) during the first quarter of 2017 from BHD 17.76 million ($46.48 million) in the same period of 2016.
The earnings per share stood at 11.7 fils in Q1-17 from 14.1 fils in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.
At the stock level, NBB closed Wednesday 0.75% higher at BHD 0.670, after 3,260 shares were traded at a value of about BHD 2,180.
