NMDC's profits hike in H1-22 unaudited financials

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The unaudited consolidated financial results of National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) reported a surge in its net profits attributable to the shareholders to AED 403.08 million in the first half (H1) of 2022 from AED 231.03 million in the year-ago period.

The company's revenues increased to AED 3.54 billion in H1-22, compared to AED 3.26 billion in the same period of 2021.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.49 in the first six months (6M) of 2022, versus AED 0.30 in the corresponding period of the earlier year.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the company's net profits amounted to AED 337.70 million, up from AED 204.49 million in the same quarter of 2021.

It is noteworthy to mention that in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, the net profits attributable to the shareholders of NMDC jumped by around 38% to AED 65.38 million from AED 26.54 million in Q1-21.
