Riyadh – Mubasher: Najran Cement Company generated SAR 28.98 million in net profit after Zakat and tax during the first quarter (Q1) of 2023, higher by 24.46% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 23.28 million.
The Saudi firm posted revenues amounting to SAR 143.68 million in January-March 2023, an annual rise of 2.73% from SAR 139.86 million, according to the interim income statements.
Earnings per share (EPS) went up to SAR 0.17 in Q1-23 from SAR 0.14 in Q1-22.
On a quarterly basis, the Q1-23 net profits after Zakat and tax shrank by 41.25% from SAR 49.33 million in Q4-22, while the revenues declined by 10.24% from SAR 160.08 million.
Earlier this month, the company disbursed cash dividends valued at SAR 42.50 million for the second half (H2) of 2022.
Last year, Najran Cement recorded a 31.29% drop in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 113.74 million, compared to SAR 165.54 million in 2021.
