Riyadh – Mubasher: Nama Chemicals Company on Thursday said it will shut down the Hassad Petrochemical Complex, an affiliate to the Jubail Chemical Industries Company (JANA), for around 22 days starting from 19 November 2020 for periodical maintenance.
The Hassad complex includes plants for chlorine, hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite, epichlorohydrin, and calcium chloride, according to a bourse statement.
Meanwhile, the epoxy plants will partially shut down for five days for maintenance.
Furthermore, Nama said all plants will resume operations on 11 December 2020 and that it took all necessary measures to fulfil its obligations towards its clients during the suspension period, expecting a limited financial effect on the maintenance budget approved at SAR 5.5 million.
