Dubai – Mubasher: National Cement Company (NCC) on Sunday announced achieving AED 33.18 million ($9.03 million) in profits for the first quarter of 2017, up 119.9% from AED 15.09 million ($4.11 million) in the year-ago period.
Revenues fell 24.3% year-on-year to AED 48.94 million in Q1-17, while cost of sales decreased 9.9% to AED 45.78 million, according to a bourse filing.
The Dubai-listed cement company had previously reported a 5.3% decline in net profits for the full year 2016 to AED 88.66 million, down from AED 93.533 million.
