Mubasher: National Finance Company reported on Thursday a net profit of OMR 1.35 million ($3.49 million) for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016, 3.64% down from OMR 1.4 million ($3.62 million) posted for Q2-15.
In the first half of fiscal 2016, net earnings leapt 0.14% year-on-year to OMR 2.78 million.
Net investment in finance activities grew by 11.73% y-o-y to OMR 190.23 million, Income from financing activities increased by 8.94% y-o-y to OMR 8.9 million and total assets advanced 12.38% y-o-y to OMR 197.85 million.
The company earlier posted a net profit of OMR 1.43 million for Q1-15.
