Riyadh – Mubasher: National Gypsum Company posted its interim financial results for the second quarter of 2019.
The company suffered SAR 1.89 million in losses during Q2-19, against profits of SAR 1.18 million in Q2-18, according to a recent filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
Revenues of the Saudi-based firm fell by 20.3% year-on-year to SAR 12.52 million during the three-month period between April and June.
For the first half of 2019, Gypsum’s net losses recorded SAR 5.39 million, versus profits of SAR 1.53 million in H1-18.
Total revenues retreated by 20.6% to SAR 23.7 million during the first six months of 2019, compared to SAR 29.96 million in the same period of the prior year.
By the end of June, loss per share stood at SAR 0.17, against a profit per share of SAR 0.05 in the corresponding period a year ago.
